Lajitas Stables welcomes you to our very
special adventure into Old Mexico.  Our trips truly cross the line
between two cultures.  The areas we will be riding through are remote,
rural, and authentic Mexico, not an Americanized vacation spot.  Experience
the unique charm of communities and farming ejidos in a part of the world
only lightly brushed by the 21st Century.  Riding horseback into this
wild region not only gives you access to special places, it allows you
to form a bond of heart and spirit with the people who call this home.

IMPORTANT
NOTICE:

Effective
June 1st, 2009, all travelers between the U.S. and Mexico will be required
to present a valid Passport, a Passport Card or a Military ID with orders. 
U.S. and Canadian children, under the age of 16, must present a certified
copy or original birth certificate to prove citizenship.  We apologize
for any inconvenience that this may create.

This
will be necessary only on 4 & 5 Day Mexico Adventures.

For
now, a passport is not required on any combination trip we offer in conjunction
with Big Bend River Tours (Riding & Rafting, Saddle & Paddle). 
You will still need a valid state or government-issued photo ID for persons
aged 16 and up on those trips since you will be traveling via an international
boundary by floating the Rio Grande.
