Trying a Bit of
Everything
We wanted
to write and say how much we enjoyed our vacation in Southwest Texas. We
had a wonderful time. Kelly took us through some beautiful scenery and
then across the river to Mexico for lunch. I still can't believe how easy
it was to get to and from Mexico.Many thanks to Mona, who solved the problems
of the world with Howard during my all day ride. We took her advice and
drove the scenic road to Presidio, and it was definitely worth the drive.
Of course
Howard is still talking about the infamous sunset ride in the desert, which
was most notable for the lack of sun due to cloud cover; but, Rita made
the ride lots of fun. I had a wonderful time with Tom on my all day ride;
and, when Howard saw the pictures, I think he thought twice about not going
along. Ruby was a great ride and it was very special for me to "bushwack"
back and finding our way like those riding through the territory years
ago.Many thanks to Linda who had a guide (Rita) and horses trucked to the
stables in Fort Davis just to accommodate us. Rita is without a doubt a
trooper.

I
don't know too many people other than crazy endurance riders who voluntarily
ride in the cold rain. She kept telling me that the rain would stop. She
was certainly right; and, when it did, the snow was beautiful!
Our all-day
ride in Fort Davis was sunny, the horses were fun, and the scenery was
wonderful. Many thanks to Boots (the dog) for doing a fine job of flushing
out some beautiful white-tail deer both of the days we rode in the Davis
Mountains.
Again,
I would like to thank all of you at Lajitas Stables for a wonderful time.
We will certainly recommend your stables to those looking for a wonderful

Great Ride!
I recently
had the pleasure of taking a four hour horseback trip on November the 15th,
2001 at Lajitas Stables. It was an outstanding trip made all the better
by our wrangler Dean. I can't say enough good things about him or the trip.
If word of mouth is truly the best advertising then I will be doing my
part for Dean and Lajitas Stables.
Once

Wonderful Time!
Just
wanted to say what a great time we had last week on our horse ride with
Chris and Randall at Big Bend Stables. We really enjoyed the company
and great scenery.
